Here is wad I think I shld do on my last day & post it..

Nt the countdown , the music , the dance or wadeva but :

What a difference a sad event in someone's life makes.

GEORGE CARLIN (His wife recently died...)

Isn't it amazing that George Carlin - comedian of the 70's and 80's -
could write something so very eloquent...and so very appropriate.
A Message by George Carlin:
The paradox of our time in history is that we have taller buildings but shorter tempers,
wider Freeways,
but narrower viewpoints.
We spend more, but have less, we buy more, but enjoy less.
We have bigger houses and smaller families, more conveniences, but less time.
We have more degrees but less sense, more knowledge, but less judgment, more experts, yet more problems, more medicine, but less wellness.
We drink too much, smoke too much, spend too recklessly, laugh too little, drive too fast, get too angry, stay up too late, get up too tired, read too little, watch TV too much, and pray too seldom. We have multiplied our possessions, but reduced our values.
We talk too much, love too seldom, and hate too often.
We've learned how to make a living, but not a life.
We've added years to life not life to years.
We've been all the way to the moon and back, but have trouble crossing the street to meet a new neighbour.
We conquered outer space but not inner space.
We've done larger things, but not better things.
We've cleaned up the air, but polluted the soul.
We've conquered the atom, but not our prejudice.
We write more, but learn less. We plan more, but accomplish less.
We've learned to rush, but not to wait.
We build more computers to hold more information, to produce more copies than ever, but we communicate less and less.
These are the times of fast foods and slow digestion, big men and small character, steep profits and shallow relationships.
These are the days of two incomes but more divorce, fancier houses, but broken homes.
These are days of quick trips, disposable diapers, throwaway morality, one night stands, overweight bodies, and pills that do everything from cheer, to quiet, to kill.
It is a time when there is much in the showroom window and nothing in the stockroom.
A time when technology can bring this letter to you, and a time when you can choose either to share this insight, or to just hit delete...
Remember; spend some time with your loved ones, because they are not going to be around forever.
Remember, say a kind word to someone who looks up to you in awe, because that little person soon will grow up and leave your side.
Remember, to give a warm hug to the one next to you, because that is the only treasure you can give with your heart and it doesn't cost a cent.
Remember, to say, 'I love you' to your partner and your loved ones, but most of all mean it.
A kiss and an embrace will mend hurt when it comes from deep inside of you.
Remember to hold hands and cherish the moment for someday that person will not be there again. Give time to love, give time to speak! And give time to share the precious thoughts in your mind.

AND ALWAYS REMEMBER: Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.
George Carlin

Life--------------------Death
is only a blanket away

All things that live must die.
Man alone, it seems lives all his life in the denial of death.
To live, one might say, is to accept death.
Yet there is more to life than merely waiting for death.
For life to have meaning there must be a purpose.
A man has to pass something on - otherwise he will be rendered useless.
For some, that purpose revolves around marriage and children that will carry on their seeds.
For others it is an ideal - a dream.
And now I ask myself this question…
Tt what if my existence was erased right now.
What was it that I left behind?
What had I passed on?
I would hv to leave a legacy ,
and they left a legacy.
so all of us, will leave a legacy.
I 4gt tt I’m human ,
By being selfish
I 4gt I’m still living,
& this is nt the attitude I SHLD hv...
Thx every1 for ur Guidance & Concern,
Even if it was no particular help at all...
U meant gd
& I appreciate it
a lot..
This year pass really really really fast... I m really grateful 4 all the wonderful ppl I mit this year... :)
I hv tried many things which I myself cnt think of...:)
I’m contented.
If I were to pass on the nx day ,
I would hv learnt the truth at day & die in peace at nite...
Thx Divine one if u ar really there.
I’m really lucky to hv live this life...
Adventurous?
me?
nah.
I just like challenging myself,
Feeling alive
And being grateful for every single breath I take.
Otherwise it is vry unfair 4 ppl hu hv died in vain
Do nt worry about hereafter, do wad u are to do tday...
So tt ppl cn oso rmb u in this life 4 ur contribution & wad u do...
--Doing wad we are supposed to do over doing wad we wan to do makes us human—

By being conscious , we are also conscious to pain... & joy.

Bcoz mankind is driven by both positive and negative influences; it is smt okay to be simple yet complicated.

Humanism affirms our ability, and responsibility, to lead ethical lives of personal fulfillment that aspire to the greater good of humanity 4 the common gd thru self –development.

Each day of human life contains joy & anger, pain & pleasure, darkness & light, growth & decay.
Each moment is etched with nature’s grand design—do not deny or oppose the cosmic order of things.

Joyfully look 4ward to each day & accept wadeva it brings

When I have difficulty believing in the divine,
my loved ones disappearing one by one,
like animals being slaughtered away,
I looked at a flower
and
asked myself how beautiful and colourful it is.
How fragrant.
How many different kinds of flowers there are!
Is this not divine, the work of a great artist?

Greet each day with upmost joy and live your Life...
Thx 4 takin ur time to read this post…
I think the answer is clear..
Hope u live ur life meaningfully..
By posting ,
I'm not greater than you. I just want to share my thoughts with others.
Do nt take me as a philosopher but rather , a friend or a brother..

P.S. ( I decided to start my own philosophical thoughts ,do not feel good to share them here. but i really dun mind sharing with the people who are interested, like face to face.. :) )

Happy 2009 Ahead!
All the Best!
Regards,
ALexL.
